Keith J. Whitaker

Keith Whitaker joined Smith, Gilliam, Williams & Miles as an associate attorney in 2007.  His areas of practice include general civil litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, contract disputes, personal injury claims, product and premises liability and eminent domain. In addition, Mr. Whitaker represents couples and individuals in Superior Court in adoption proceedings.

A resident of Cleveland, Georgia, Mr. Whitaker received a bachelor’s degree in political science from North Georgia College and State University before obtaining a law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2005.

Before joining Smith, Gilliam, Williams & Miles, Mr. Whitaker served for two years as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Superior Courts of the Enotah Judicial Circuit, which includes White, Lumpkin, Union and Towns counties.
