M. Tyler Smith

Experience

Tyler Smith’s practice includes business law and litigation, working to meet the diverse needs of commercial clients. Mr. Smith has extensive experience in commercial and real estate litigation as well as commercial real estate transactions. He is regularly involved in condemnation/eminent domain litigation. He works to seek realistic, reasonable, and cost-effective resolution for clients in contract, shareholder, employment, and property disputes.

Mr. Smith also assists clients in business formation and organization, including the preparation of business agreements such as confidentiality and shareholder agreements, as well as employment agreements.

In May 2001, Mr. Smith was appointed by Governor Roy Barnes to the Lake Sidney Lanier Watershed Governance Council. As Chair until 2005, he helped select the team of state and local representatives who work to achieve and maintain the water quality of Lake Sidney Lanier.
