Steve Gilliam is a respected trial attorney who represents commercial clients in complex litigation, corporate, banking and transactional law.
Mr. Gilliam’s list of clients includes regional and national businesses in banking, manufacturing, and the poultry industry. He has litigated cases not only in Georgia, but also in Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, Illinois, and South Carolina. He also has considerable experience in employment and workers’ compensation law.
A significant portion of Mr. Gilliam’s practice involves real estate and eminent domain litigation. He is also experienced in commercial real estate development and management, including land acquisition, leasing, and sales activities.
Voted Gainesville Rotary’s “Man of the Year” in 1996, a “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine since its inception in 2004, and Super Lawyer, Corporate Counsel Edition, Mr. Gilliam is a respected presenter of leading seminars and workshops for attorneys throughout the Southeast. He is listed in Who’s Who in the American Law, Who’s Who in America, and is a member of Gridiron Secret Society.
He has served as Chair of numerous community service agency boards, including United Way of Hall County, Rehabilitation Industries, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Elachee Nature Science Center, Hall County Needs Assessment Task Force, Gainesville State College Foundation, and Quality Growth Council.
He has been President of the Chattahoochee Country Club and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. |
